TopoTrace Community v0.1.0 is available as source code and as release archives for Linux and macOS. The release page includes checksums for the published archives.
Try it on your machine
With Git and the Go version required by the repository's go.mod installed, run:
git clone https://github.com/topotracehq/topotrace.git
cd topotrace
go run ./cmd/topotraceOpen http://localhost:8080/ to explore the dashboard. This is a local evaluation path; review the repository's deployment and security documentation before connecting real devices or exposing an instance to a network.
How deployment works
The central application serves the API and dashboard. Agents collect facts from managed hosts. Optional site workers support bounded discovery and staged deployment in selected network segments. You can run the server directly, with Docker Compose, under systemd, or using the Helm chart.
For production: use the documented authentication settings, persistent storage, and HTTPS at your public endpoint. Keep the ingest service within a trusted network boundary. See the repository's security model and getting-started guide for current details.
